Meet Snezna. A powerhouse of a woman, Snezna started her career as a journalist, moved onto owning her own PR company, and then jumped straight into developing her own teen girl skincare range. After having worked in health and beauty, and with a daughter who was about to start her own skincare journey, Snezna found a gap in the market and quickly ran to fill it. Last year Snezna moved on to becoming Director of Health and Wellness at Edelman Australia-- a high intensity position, perfect for this dynamic and driven woman. Despite the success of her carreer, Snezna is very intentional about investing time into her family. With a daughter and husband, she admits that being successful in the corporate world can be demanding, however never lets the passion for her family be overtaken by her career. She is a Strong Woman.
Meet Ruth. Growing up in Sydney, Ruth has always had a heart for young people. Working with youth since 2004, she has been exposed to many confronting issues and the ever-increasing pressures adolescents today are facing. She was devastated to learn and witness that 70% of girls believe they are not good enough, or don’t measure up in some way. Ruth wanted to provide a solution. She was determined create a way for girls to feel content and confident in their REAL identity and value, and be equipped with skills and tools to endure and thrive through life’s challenges. In 2012 Esteem Designz was born. A uniquely creative resource enabling schools, community/welfare organisations and individuals across Australia to make lasting impacts in the lives of girls. She passionately pours her life into empowering girls to know their infinite worth and value. Determined to redefine our culture to one of true acceptance (of self and others), tomorrow (15 September), Ruth is encouraging everyone to jump on board with her ChooseREAL Campaign, where women and girls are encouraged to upload a photo of themselves with the words "I Choose Real"- celebrating authenticity and claiming the fact that we are #morethanenough, just as we are. She is a Strong Woman.
